Corporate Communications Manager

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Corporate Communications Manager to join our team at group.one, a portfolio of brands specialising in web hosting, website building, and domain name registration. This operationally focused role will report to the Head of Corporate Communications and will have a primary focus on internal communications, employer branding, sustainability and crisis communication. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to manage day-to-day communication operations, engage employees through compelling messaging, and act quickly and effectively during crises.
As part of a growing, private equity-backed company, the Corporate Communications Manager will play a critical role in shaping the internal narrative, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring timely, transparent communication with our employees. This role will also contribute to strengthening group.one’s employer brand and support effective communication during periods of change or crisis.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Internal Messaging & Engagement: Oversee daily communication to ensure alignment with company culture, values, and goals. Create and distribute clear and engaging content including for emails, newsletters, and intranet updates to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Employee Communication Channels: Manage internal channels (intranet, newsletters, town halls, Slack) to ensure clear and consistent messaging. Assist leadership in communicating organizational updates and maintaining transparency.
- Employer Branding Strategy: Collaborate with HR and talent acquisition to develop an employer branding strategy that highlights company culture, values, and benefits. Create content (employee stories, testimonials) for career sites and social media, positioning the company as an employer of choice.
- Crisis and Change Communication Management: Work with leadership to manage organisational change and crisis communications, ensuring messages are clear and empathetic. Prepare the company for crisis communication with resilient channels and processes. Support external crisis communication efforts when needed.
- Sustainability: work closely with the head of communications and head of sustainability on regular ESG communications for all audiences, and with the annual Sustainability Report.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience and relevant qualifications in corporate communications or internal communications in an international environment.
- Proven experience in creating and executing on internal communication and employer branding strategies within a fast-paced organization.
- Experience with working closely with senior leadership on sensitive issues such as change and crisis.
You possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse internal audiences and varying situations. Your strong project management abilities allow you to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently. As a creative thinker, you have a passion for producing engaging content in all forms, that resonates with both employees and potential candidates. Additionally, you have excellent interpersonal skills and collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels, including senior leadership.
You are proficient in using internal communication tools such as Microsoft 365, Slack, Confluence, SharePoint and other intranet platforms, as well as creative tools such as Canva or Adobe. You are also well-versed in leveraging social media platforms like LinkedIn and Glassdoor for employer branding purposes and to extend stakeholder reach. Your expertise extends to media relations, content management, and applying crisis communication best practices.
The position is located in Stockholm.
