group.one, a leading provider of online presence services across Europe and beyond, is seeking an experienced professional to join our business controlling team, focusing on forecasting, monthly reporting, and commercial modelling. You will oversee divisional reporting with a dotted line to the Chief Operating Officers (COOs), using your analytical skills to deliver insights into business cases, reports, and forecasts, while communicating key recommendations to senior management and regional leaders.
What you will be working on
Reporting to the VP of Business Controlling, you will develop the Business Controlling function as a trusted financial advisor, partnering with stakeholders to drive strategic decisions and business performance. You will take ownership of divisional reporting, maintaining a dotted line to the Chief Operating Officers (COOs), and ensure that financial insights are accurate and relevant. Additionally, you will lead budget preparation and forecasting processes in collaboration with the VP, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
Key responsibilities include providing monthly reporting with actionable insights, conducting trend analysis on sales, customer behaviour, and subscription trends, and evaluating new business opportunities. You’ll collaborate with the data team for reliable performance metrics, develop revenue models and forecasting tools, and identify financial risks and opportunities to enhance profitability.
About you
To be successful in this position, we envision you possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Several years of proven experience in a similar Finance Business Partner or Consulting role
- Experience in global, fast-paced, and PE-owned organisations is highly advantageous
- Familiarity with subscription-based business models is preferred
- A Master's degree in Finance or Accounting is required
- Strong proficiency in IT tools, including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), ERP systems, CRM platforms and other relevant software
- Fluent English, both verbal and written, is essential
